Brand New
I started this blog my freshman year of high school through an assignment in my media class. I ultimately forgot about it, but the blog has recently resurfaced from my subconscious. So, Kayden's movie blog is back! Hopefully, better than before. Although I will not have any preexisting qualifications for this blog. I will review any movie I so please, whether that be a cult classic or the new blockbuster hitting theaters. I don't expect this blog to get many or any readers, but just in case there are, this is for you.

Unbroken takes you on a journey with the main character Louis, who is in the army but previously was an Olympic runner. You will also take a journey as Louis searches for his faith through challenges road blocks through war. Watch Unbroken!

Misery
Was this movie good?
Misery, is based off the book by Stephen King, the movie did a pretty good job of following the book and for the most part I enjoyed this movie. You could consider it a scary movie but it was more gory and not that "scary'.What was the plot of the movie?
This movie is about the famous author Paul Sheldon. Paul has just finished his last book and smokes his usual cigarette and drinks a glass of the most high class of champagne. He leaves the Silvercreek Inn and encounters a fierce snow storm. His car flips multiple times and it seems that Sheldon will not survive... until he is rescued by his biggest fan Annie Wilkes. Annie brings Sheldon to her home in the middle of nowhere and nurses him back to health, telling him that once the roads clear and the phone lines are back up she will take him to a hospital... or so she says.Would you recommend this movie to others?
I would definitely recommend this movie to everyone except children, their are some parts that are extra gory also a couple foul words, but other than that this movie was great. I would also say that it would be a good idea to also read the book.Would you watch MISERY again?
Probably not, it's not that it was a bad movie, it was very good. It's just one of those movies where you can only watch once or else the move loses it's appeal.Final thoughts?
The actress who plays Annie Wilkes (Kathy Bates) does an excellent job of demonstrating Annie's character. The acing overall was fantastic, although there was only two main roles. My final thought is to watch Misery!Friday, February 13, 2015
The Village

This movie surrounded a village of people who live in harmony with a woods where "they who should not be named" live. The main character is named Ivy and is blind. I will not give away all the secrets of this film, you will have to go watch it for yourself. What would you rate this movie?

Annabelle
How was Annabelle?
I had pretty high expectations for this movie, and let's just say that this movie did not at all live up to my expectations. This movie is an adaptation of the movie The Conjuring, Annabelle was a semi important character in that movie and the actual movie Annabelle was telling the story behind the doll Annabelle.Summary?
The story is set around a young couple who are expecting a baby. They are neighbors to an older couple who's daughter ran away. Mia, the main character is a doll collector, her husband gets her the exclusive new doll (Annabelle). One night Mia hears a scream from their neighbors house, her husband goes to check it out only to find that there neighbors are injured. Mia run inside to call 911, their is a woman in her house who is holding the doll she says "I like your dolls" Mia is scared and backs into a man. The man stabs Mia by her pregnant stomach the cops come and shoot the man and woman. The woman happened to be Annabelle Higgins the older couples daughter. Annabelle dies with the Annabelle doll in her arms. I single drop of blood drops into the dolls eye. The rest of the movie is mainly about Annabelle and a demon presence.Would you recommend this to others?
If you don't like scary movies but would like to give them a try with a not really scary movie, then I would recommend it. But if you are a huge scary movie fan like me, I wouldn't watch this movie.Would you watch this movie again?
Probably not, unless there was nothing else, or I was watching it with someone show wanted to watch it.The movie was semi scary and I feel like would be a good movie for someone to watch if they didn’t want an extremely scary movie.Rating from 1-10?
I would probably give this movie a 4.7 because it wasn't so terrible that I would rate it a 3 but it was pretty bad.Favorite part of the movie?
This movie had a couple good jump scares which was good, there was also some parts that were genuinely scary. Also at the very beginning of the movie the focus is on the sky in the background and then the focus cuts to the gargoyle in the foreground which was a really great filmed shot.
