Annabelle

How was Annabelle?

I had pretty high expectations for this movie, and let's just say that this movie did not at all live up to my expectations. This movie is an adaptation of the movie The Conjuring, Annabelle was a semi important character in that movie and the actual movie Annabelle was telling the story behind the doll Annabelle.

Summary?

The story is set around a young couple who are expecting a baby. They are neighbors to an older couple who's daughter ran away. Mia, the main character is a doll collector, her husband gets her the exclusive new doll (Annabelle). One night Mia hears a scream from their neighbors house, her husband goes to check it out only to find that there neighbors are injured. Mia run inside to call 911, their is a woman in her house who is holding the doll she says "I like your dolls" Mia is scared and backs into a man. The man stabs Mia by her pregnant stomach the cops come and shoot the man and woman. The woman happened to be Annabelle Higgins the older couples daughter. Annabelle dies with the Annabelle doll in her arms. I single drop of blood drops into the dolls eye. The rest of the movie is mainly about Annabelle and a demon presence.

Would you recommend this to others?

If you don't like scary movies but would like to give them a try with a not really scary movie, then I would recommend it. But if you are a huge scary movie fan like me, I wouldn't watch this movie.

Would you watch this movie again?

Probably not, unless there was nothing else, or I was watching it with someone show wanted to watch it.The movie was semi scary and I feel like would be a good movie for someone to watch if they didn’t want an extremely scary movie.

Rating from 1-10?

I would probably give this movie a 4.7 because it wasn't so terrible that I would rate it a 3 but it was pretty bad.

Favorite part of the movie?

This movie had a couple good jump scares which was good, there was also some parts that were genuinely scary. Also at the very beginning of the movie the focus is on the sky in the background and then the focus cuts to the gargoyle in the foreground which was a really great filmed shot.

The Woman In Black II

How was The Woman In Black II?

To all those scary movie lovers out there this movie did not meet expectations. I went to go see this movie in the theaters and did not get scared once! I had pretty low expectations for this movie, not going to lie, but I at least thought it would be better than the first movie. It was not. Another thing I did not like about this movie was that the plot was horrible and kind of hard to follow.

    Summary?

The movie was set during a war in London. The main character is a young woman who's occupation is to take children who cannot stay in the town to safer places. The young woman and another lady take the children to a house in the country. Strange things begin to happen. The so called 'Woman in Black' has "possessed" a young boy. Children begin dying and the young woman and her male companion try to solve the mystery of the "Woman in Black'

Would you recommend this to others?

Absolutely not. I would not waste $1.50 at redbox to watch this movie. Not only was this as bad or possibly even worse than the first Woman In Black movie, it had nothing to do with it! The whole point of sequels of movies is to continue on with a story, not to create a completely different story. Another point that I was disappointed in was the whole scary movie factor. Scary movies are called scary movies because they are scary. There are those times when a movie is so amazing and psychological that they don't have to be very scary. But The Woman In Black II was horrible, not scary at all, and a terribly messed up plot. The whole movie revolves around a strange force getting children to kill themselves.

Would you watch this movie again?

The only time I would ever watch this terrible movie again would be if I was forced or if I had to write a report on a horrific movie.

Rating from 1-10?

I would probably give this movie a 2.

Favorite Part of the Movie?

My Favorite part of this movie would probably be the very end when all of the pieces fell together, or when the movie ended. Although I did enjoy this one shot of the train going into the tunnel, it was shot very well, I was impressed.
